Summary
I'm a children's book illustrator and author. My formal education was in pharmacy field and I recieved a master's degree in it. But after 3 years of work expirience in pharmacy, I decided to follow my heart, and my long term hobby activity became my job. Since 2019, I write and illustrate children's books professionaly and I love it.
My experience allowed me to develop strong skills in drawing, sketching and illustration. I am an expert in using Procreate, Photoshop and InDesign. I believe these are just tools to express my ideas, imagination, creativity and love for making art. I'm always on a continuous learning and improving process, doing online classes whenever I see an oportunity to learn something new.
While studying pharmacy at University and few years later, I was spending a lot of time doing paintings, (oil on canvas) and that hobby was active for more than 10 years. When I decided to quit my job and start my freelance artist career, other interests led me to children's book world. I also do commission caricatures and digital paintings for clients.
My biggest achievement in this business is Award for best children's picture book in XXXII International book fair in Sarajevo in October 2021.
